JEN!!!! I needed this so bad this week! I quit my corporate job because it wasn’t what I wanted and am now a barista. I feel like an absolute failure and I cry alone at night because throughout the day I pretend to be happy so my family doesn’t worry about me. I just graduated college and I need like a complete failure. I work hard and am trying to find another job but I feel hopeless and like I’m so insignificant. I’m exhausted from opening the coffee shop every day and I feel like I haven’t written anything in a while.
All this to say… thank you for your writing! I needed to hear all of this today.
Girl, NO! You are a success. You are such a success that you quit something that was wrong to free up space to find what is right. YOU ARE MORE THAN TRYING -- you are on your way -- you're so close to what is next, I know it. Please keep pushing forward. Don't worry about writing. You will find a season for that soon too. Cheering you on and thinking about you.
Ps. when I just graduated college I felt like a hopeless mess. You're wrong. You're just at chapter one of your next story. We have to have some drama there before the good stuff shows up -- always.
