Hi, Friend! It's me, Jen Glantz.
Tomorrow is July, which means we've lived through half of 2025 already.
I feel like every year I write that same exact sentence and feel so blah about it.
You're telling me I've lived half of my year so far and doneβ¦nothing?
I'm sure if you looked at my calendar it would look like I've done so much.
I'm sure on social media it seems like I'm some successful Brooklyn mom girlie just doing it all!
I'm sure if you're my friend you're thinking wow, you are always so busy.
But when I opened up my 2025 goal list last night, I read it a few times over and thought:
Oh. Right. Yeah, this is what I thought I'd be doing all year. Sooooo why haven't I?
I know why! Because it's hard to kick out the BS in your own life and actually focus on something big and new and scary and potentially a big waste of time if it goes nowhere kind of thing in your own life.
The problem with goals is that we think we'll have all the time in the world to do them. Tomorrow becomes next Sunday which becomes December 31st, and then we find ourselves looking at the same life goals wondering when we'll ever actually care enough about them to do them.
I also find myself wishing that on December 31st I'll look at my life and feel proud of what I did in the past year. Most years, I feel regretful for how much time I wasted and how scared I was of myself.
The best part about being halfway through a year is that you can look at how you've spent the first half of the year, feel a little bad about it, or feel great about it, and decide what to do next.
I have a slow week this week, so here's what I plan on doing to get myself back on track.
Step #1: Take a quick inventory of my 2025 year so far.
Go month-by-month. What was I proud of? What was a waste of time or a mistake?
What's working well in my life? What do I need to do less of?
Step #2: Set summer goals
What are three things you want to finish by the end of September?
How can I do at least 1/3 of that by the end of July?
Step #3: Pick one biggggggg goal
This is the goal that if you finish (or get close to finishing) by December 31st would make you exhale with pride about the year you just lived.
We're all halfway to something. Anything. Or nothing. You can pick.
And while fighting with the voices inside of your head telling you I'm scared, I'm not good enough, I won't ever finish this, you can get going back on that track again.
Take care of yourself this week (ilysm),
Book: If youβre looking for a beach read or a fun read, sharing my book with you! Iβm really proud of this one and will be going on a book tour this fall/winter :) stay tuned!

Most-Worn Items Of the Week:
β A tank top thatβs fits so well I bought it in a ton of different colors.
β You know I donβt love expensive things but these jeans are really worth the hype. They are so light-weight for the summer and they fit so well.
β I needed new sunscreen and am obsessed with this brand. Itβs great coverage and doesnβt make my skin breakout.
βEverything I wear on my face from 6am to 6pm:
Skincare: Iβve been conscious about my skin since I was 11 and acne became my clingy best friend. In the last few weeks, TWO people told me my skin looks really good (bare without makeup)!! Itβs a compliment I donβt hear often and Itβs because of my skincare routine. I only use products from this one brand (this is not sponsored!! I spent $150 on 10 products last month that are amazing). Here are the ones I canβt live without:
Toner: Makes my skin feel so smooth in the morning.
Peptide Serum: This has been a game changer for my face. If you grab one thing to try, try this!
Moisturizer: Love this one! Itβs not thick and doesnβt make my skin oily
Face Oil: I put this on as my final step after moisturizer.
Makeup:
